Himani Trust actively involved in COVID-19 relief efforts since the pandemic began. These efforts have included providing medical supplies, supporting healthcare workers, distributing food and essential items to those in need, and offering financial assistance to individuals and businesses affected by the pandemic. Himani Trust played a crucial role in complementing government efforts and filling gaps in resources and services, demonstrating the importance of collaboration and collective action in addressing global crises like the COVID-19 pandemic.

Some of the key items distributed by Himani Trust following items worth NRS 3,04,66,680/-  ( Three crores forty-six lakhs sixty-six thousand and six hundred and eighty).

  • Kathmandu Medical College:  500 sets of PPE, 500 pieces of KN95 masks, 1000 of pieces surgical masks, and 500 pieces of gloves.
  • For Media personnel: 100 sets of PPE, 100 pieces of surgical masks, 100 pieces of sanitizers.
  •  Sudurpachhim Pradesh: 300 sets of PPE, 300 pieces of KN95 masks, 300 pieces of gloves, and 300 pieces of sanitizers.
  •  Ward office 3 of Kathmandu: 20 sets of PPE.
  • Funeral Ground Pashupati: 30 sets of PPE, 30 pieces of surgical masks, and 30 pieces of gloves.
  • Fruits and vegetable market: 3000 pieces of gloves, 3000 pieces of KN95 masks, 3000 pieces of sanitizers.
  • Pashupati Bikash Kosh: Dal and  Rice sacks worth one lakh.
  • Chahari single women group, Kathmandu: 75 units sacks of rice and ration
  • Karagar Hospital (Jail Hospital): 50 sets of  PPE, 200 sets of KN95 masks, 1000 pieces of surgical masks, 2000 pieces of gloves, 167 pieces of sanitizers, and 5 sets of thermogun.
  • District Municipality Office Sunsari: 100 sets of PPE, 100 sets of KN95 masks, and two disinfection sprays.
  •  Nepal Youth Club, Jumla: 30 sets of PPE, 150 sets of surgical masks, 150 sets of sanitizer.
  •  Solu Bal Samrakshan Griha: 8 sacks of rice and ration.
  • Shree Indra Rajya Laxmi Devi ParopakarPrashuti Griha: 200 sets of PPE, 200 pieces of KN95 masks, 200 sets of gloves, 200 sets of sanitizers.
  • Gauriphanta border: 100 sets of PPE, 2500 sets of surgical masks, 2500 sets of gloves, 1500 cartoon water, 10,000 sets of soaps,
  • Nepsemyac (waste collection depo): 10 sets of PPE, 10 sets of surgical masks, 10 sets of gloves.
  • Nepal Medical Association: 5000 sets of KN95 masks and 5000 sets of sanitizers.
  • Panchakanya School (Kathmandu): 40 sacks of rice and 2 sacks of dal
  • Chepang community, Chitwan: 60 sacks of rice and 6 sacks of dal
  •  Jayanti Youth Club, Gorkha:  disinfection spray 6
  •  Aroma Heath Club: 4 sets of PPE
  •  Care Child Hostel: 5 sacks of rice, and a sack of dal
  •  Kanchanpur Isolation Center: 1000 bottles of mosquito repellent, 1000 pieces of sanitary pads, 1000 pieces of lito, 1000 pieces ORS (Jeevan jal), and 1000 pieces of soaps.
  •  Animal Nepal: 10 sets of PPE.
  •  Gorkha municipality: 1 water filter, 500 mosquito nets, Rautahat Isolation Center: 1500 mosquito nets and 1 water filter.
  •  Community Hospital Gorkha: 1 set water filter and 500 mosquito nets
  •  Shanti Sewa Griha: 10 sets of PPE.
  •  Manmohann Community Hospital, Pharping: 25 sets of PPE, 250 sets masks, 2 thermogun.
  • Food distribution in Ratnapark and Pashupati area for 10 days.
  • In collaboration with the Rotary club of New Road city Kathmandu, the trust has provided two pieces of high-flow nasal canyola to Patan Hospital.
  • Cash donation to COVID Relief fund of two crores

Through this support, Himani Trust has been instrumental in providing support to vulnerable populations during these challenging times.
