Empowering Jumla Future 2023

In a special program organized  by  the Himani Trust, members consisting of HRH Princess Dilasha Rajya Laxmi Devi Rana, Aditi Singha, Aneeta KC, Sasank Singha distributed warm clothes to the children of Jumla District on the week of 3^rd November 2023. The one week event was supported by the fund raised through an event and topped up by the Trust after more needs were identified during preliminary survey.

The identified areas were Guthi Chaur, Hima, Sinja, Chandannath, Kanka Sundari, Tila, Tatopani and Patarrasi  where 2374 sets of Warm Clothes, 105  Mattresses/Quilts and 146  of Pillows,  527 sacks of Food Materials, 95 sets of Cooking Utensils, 19 sets of sport equipment (Chess Board/Ludo Set, Football), 37 sets of Football Jersies and Boots, 27  White Blind Canes, 2237  Educational Materials consisting of Pens/ Pencils/ Sharpeners/ Erasers/ School Bags/ and Tooth Brush/Tooth Paste/Soaps were distributed accordingly amounting to (Rs. 50,00,000.00) Rs. Fifty Lakhs)

The children of this District were so overwhelmed by this noble gesture by Himani Trust  that the Children performed songs and dances to show their gratitude.  Musical Instruments consisting of 7 Madals/ 7 Flutes/ 2 sets of Piano(Organ)/4 Cymbals and 1 Harmonium were also given to the school children.

Around 3000 children of these areas were benefited by this worthy donation by Himani Trust.
