Himani Trust is a philanthropic organization established in September 2010. Our benevolent Patron is Her Majesty Queen Komal Rajya Lakmi Devi Shah. Under the able leadership Of Her Royal Highness Crown Princess Himani Rajya Laxmi Devi Shah. The Trust is inspired by firm beliefs that an ‘Enlightened Future is Obtained through an Awakened Society’. We strive to enhance the quality of life of the Nepalese people. . Himani Trust works tirelessly, promoting positive change as an apolitical entity. With our unwavering commitment to enhancing Nepal’s well-being, we stand at the forefront of national service, extending a compassionate hand to all with unwavering impartiality. The first plan is for the construction of a shelter home to provide flood relief for more than 300 susceptible. Individuals in the Terai district during seasonal catastrophic flooding.
The second plan is for the establishment of a birthing center in Jumla, which is a resource-strapped area with high maternal mortality and neonatal mortality rates. As per the data published by the District Public Health Office in Jumla as published in The Kathmandu Post on 1st March, 2024; as many as 29 infants below one month died in the Jumla district in the last fiscal year. Due to lack of adequate health facilities and people’s limited resources usually, women give birth in unsanitary conditions and unsuitable locations, thereby posing health hazards to mother and child. Hence the need for a birthing center was felt.
The third plan is for the construction of a school in Jajarkot. On November 9th, 2023, a deadly earthquake Hit Jajarkot where 153 people were killed and over 5000 houses were damaged and 3000 houses were destroyed. Among these ruins, we are planning to re-build a school that has been damaged by the earthquake.
Regarding the fourth plan, we intend to build and develop a Smart Village and for this, we have identified a village in Dalchoki, in the Lalitpur district. The strategy is to make all the villagers self-sustainable in their livelihood, by setting up rain-water harvesting systems, promoting organic farming, developing tourist home-stays, and ploughing back the income generated from these activities into health, and education
Himani Trust has reached more than 53 districts with various programs and prompt relief packages. We are operational from Mechi to Mahakali using our ever expanding intricate volunteer network. Each district consists of groups of dedicated participants to effectively implement programs. Furthermore, The Trust has also gained on extending its international coverage by establishing chapters in Australia (2020) and in the USA (2021).
CLEAN WATER CAMPAING (7+ Districts)
Thousands of children receive self-filtration water bottles that will last a year, preventing children from dehydration and various water-borne diseases. Water filtration tanks distribution that convenience for 700 people a day at different locations targeting schools and COVID-19 quarantines.

This program is initiated with the support of our corresponding Trust in Australia to tackle water-borne diseases among school children in Nepal. These suitable water bottles can self-filter contaminated water up to 1000 liters a year, thus mitigating dehydration and water born diseased in countless children.
RAPID RELIEF (50+ Districts)
Thousands of families have received aid via our competent partakers. Emergency support to various natural calamity survivors is provided endlessly, with more than 1300 skilled volunteers spread over different districts mobilized for quick response.
Relief and Humanitarian support
Himani Trust provides temporary shelter, food, and warm clothes for the survivors of disaster-hit areas. The remaining forefront of providing humanitarian support to survivors of various natural calamities such as earthquakes, floods, landslides, fire, high temperatures, and harsh winters.
PLANTATION (7+ Districts)
Initiating a cleaner and greener environment, The Trust hosts planting thousands of fruit-bearing trees, and raising awareness to ensure clean water, land, and air.

Fruit-bearing tree plantations are initiated in various parts of Nepal, respective to its topography. Our goal is to plant 10,000 trees annually. A key focus will be on countryside private properties where individual land owners will benefit by becoming agro entrepreneurs. This drive aims to tackle the challenges of shortage, malnutrition, and climate change with an upsurge in flora and fauna.
HEALTH CAMPS
Organizing health camps targeting the most vulnerable and unvaryingly distant communities.
Healthcamps and awareness program
Serving more than 18,000 local people, Himani Trust regularly conducts health camps in collaboration with hospitals and like-minded organizations. Our health camps target citizens of remote places in Nepal through physicians, gynecologists, heart specialists, ENT specialists, radiologists, dentists, and pathologists. We have Public and mental health awareness programs along with Blood donation and Minor surgeries.
COVID-19
Himani Trust played a key role in undertaking the COVID-19 pandemic by providing health support kits to hospitals, health workers, police, journalists, waste management workers, entrepreneurs, and social workers. Delivered food to thousands of needy people in different municipalities.
EDUCATION SUPPORT
Headed towards inaccessible areas, supporting stationery items, clothing, and education fees to children under par with the intent to improve children’s access to educational opportunities by improving the standards of educational facilities.
NUTRITION (43+ Districts)
4000 children, nurturing mother and elderly people receive packs of self-prepared poshilo Khana (Nutritious food) for 2+ years to fight hunger and malnutrition.
